Job Description
Job Purpose
The key aim of this role is to develop project and manage projects and other technical assignments from conception to completion. The Ideal candidate will have experience of successful project development/project delivery of multimillion £ projects in an EPC/EPCm environment, preferably in the EfW, BESS or Industrial sector.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop projects from initial stage, managing contracts and contract schedules for a variety of forms of contract from the EPC contractual position
Develop projects from initial stage, managing contracts and contract schedules for a variety of forms of contract from the Client contractual position
Be able to integrate into a client's team in order to act on their behalf
Manage project commercial elements when necessary
Managing project teams to ensure delivery of scope
Invoicing
Cost tracking for projects
Cost forecasting for project
CAPEX and OPEX development for projects
Cost estimating
Project systems development
Management of projects in accordance with CDM Regs 2015 (2020)
Involvement in commercial negotiations
Involvement in package management and specification and scope management for projects
Line management of assigned staffQualifications/Experience/Skills:
Excellent project and staff management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Commercial and Contractual awareness
An Engineering background, educated to degree level in a technical subject, although relevant experience will be considered
