Job Description
Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a 2:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to two wonderful children who thrive with one-on-one care and attention to work Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays. For the right candidate however, the school would be prepared to consider full time applicants.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be involved with:
Providing 1:1 and shared support to two children with identified SEN needs, ensuring they are fully included in classroom activities.
Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), supporting the children's development in communication, social, and emotional skills.
Fostering positive relationships with the children, helping them feel secure and confident in their learning environment.
Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt activities and resources to meet the children's specific needs.About you:

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
Contract or position start date - ASAP
Duration - Permanent/Temporary- Long-term/Permanent
Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A
Full time/part-time - Part-time: Monday, Tuesday and Friday or full time for the right candidate.
Hours - Standard working hours 8.30am-3.15pm (times may vary).
Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:
Experience working with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly those with SEN (desirable).
Knowledge of strategies and interventions to support children with a range of additional needs (e.g., speech and language, sensory processing, or autism) (desirable).
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide references upon request
Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
