A technology-driven Senior IT Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large scale IT, Digital Transformation, and Software projects is required by a global leader in their industry. With a multi-million investment driving significant IT, Cloud (AWS or Azure) and digital transformation initiatives, this is an exciting opportunity to join a company at the forefront of innovation.

Experience required -

• A highly experience Senior IT Project Manager with proven experience in successfully leading large scale IT, Digital Transformation, Cloud and Software projects.
• Expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, and PMP.
• Ability of handling of "leftfield" major issues in highly pressured environment
• Hands-on experience with large scale enterprise software implementations, system integrations, and a wide range of IT projects, including infrastructure, storage, third-party solutions, data / BI, and cybersecurity.
• Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development life cycles, and cloud technologies.
• Any experience in change management would be a bonus
• Skilled in stakeholder management, effectively communicating with senior executives, business leaders, and external partners & the ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving high performance.
• Skilled in contract negotiation and vendor management, including selecting and overseeing external contractors and suppliers & have strong financial acumen
• Any recognized project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner, or ITIL would be a bonus.

The role of the IT Project Manager includes:

• Lead the planning and execution of IT projects & Digital Transformation projects, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in line with business goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor progress, using verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the availability and effective management of both in-house IT staff and external contractors.
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and systems to evaluate success.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear, timely communication of project expectations to all parties.
• Conduct risk management, proactively identifying potential issues and developing contingency plans.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in IT project management to promote innovation and efficiency.
• Facilitate change management processes, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and technologies within the organization.
