Are you an experienced Estimator ready to take on your next challenge?
About the role of Estimator
Our client is a leading construction and development company with a strong focus of delivering high-quality projects on time within budget. With a proven track record spanning decades, our client has established itself as a trusted partner in the industry.
Our clients are looking for someone with Ground Work experience as well as the ability to tender from inception to take off.
The responsibilities of the Estimator
Contribution to the generation of tenders, proposing costs and estimate resources for Commercial & Housing projects
Take full control of the Tender Enquiry be Self-motivated.
Participation in the winning of contracts while minimising risk and maximising profit by estimating the costs for tenders, negotiating with suppliers (through the Purchase manager) and subcontracts, and supporting value engineering.
Contribute to the process of preparing, validating, adjudication, and final submission of tenders. This includes minimising any subcontractor and material costs, communicating with external design, planning, commercial and management.
Estimate costs in order to meet or exceed customer requirements, including obtaining and negotiating quotes all assisted & accompanied by management team.
Build and retain commercial relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors during the tender and fulfilment process.
Generate new leads for further Tender Enquiries.Requirements for Estimator
You will need ground works knowledge.
Tendering from inception to finish.
Extensive knowledge of best industry practices and standards.
Excellent research, proposal writing and oral presentation skills

This role comes with a salary of up to £75,000 depending on your experience.
