Role: Part-Time/Supply SEN Teaching Assistant

Contract: Part-Time/Supply
Day Rate: £90
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored one-on-one or group support for SEN and PMLD pupils.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and specialists to implement individualized learning plans.
Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports students' well-being and engagement.
Assist during lessons, break times, and school activities to ensure inclusivity.
Help prepare learning materials and resources to enrich the classroom experience.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN and/or PMLD pupils is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and an ability to connect with children, staff, and families.
Patience, empathy, and a calm, adaptable approach to diverse learning needs.
Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage but not required.
Flexibility to address varied learning challenges.
Local to Ware with a reliable commute.
Full driving license preferred.
