Job Description
First Achieve's Engineering Division are hiring for our client, an industry leader in delivering exceptional bridging solutions and services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is a rare opportunity to lead innovative design projects and contribute to the advancement of modern bridge construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and execute bridge design projects from conception to completion, ensuring high standards of engineering excellence.
Develop and review structural designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills and professional development.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timelines, with a focus on quality and innovation.Key Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge design and construction, including hands-on project management experience.
Expertise in structural analysis and design software, such as AEC RSA, MIDAS, and IDEA StatiCa.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and building codes relevant to bridge construction.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to travel and work on-site as required.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.What's on Offer:
