We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of our projects.
As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the coordination of all technical aspects of residential developments. You will work closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality homes. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulations, and building standards, as well as providing technical support across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate Technical Information: Manage and coordinate all technical documentation, drawings, and design details across various stages of the project.
* Support Design & Build Process: Liaise with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design integrity and compliance with technical specifications, building codes, and regulations.
* Quality Control: Ensure that all technical aspects of the projects meet the required standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
* Problem Solving: Address any technical issues or challenges that arise during the development process and propose effective solutions.
* Liaise with Stakeholders: Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., project managers, site managers) and external stakeholders (e.g., contractors, local authorities) to keep projects on track.
* Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all technical and regulatory compliance requirements are met, and support the preparation of documentation for planning and building control approvals.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a technical coordination role within the housebuilding sector.
* Strong understanding of technical drawings, building regulations, and construction standards.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
* Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or architecture are desirable.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience within the housebuilding sector or residential development projects.
* Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency standards.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in the construction industry.
