Are you a dynamic, results-orientated Commercial Director with proven experience of taking ownership of contractually challenging projects and implementing consistent commercial processes and procedures throughout a senior management team?

MBS Recruitment are seeking a Commercial Director to take control of a portfolio of local authority highway schemes with contractual challenges. This requires someone with an exceptional record of maintaining strong client relationships whilst challenging financial and legal aspects of contractual changes to scope and timescales in order to regain outstanding costs.

Furthermore, it requires someone with the ability to analyse, develop and implement consistent commercial processes and procedures across multiple commercial teams servicing a wide range of client needs.

This role requires someone from a civil engineering contractor background, ideally with experience of working on highway schemes. You must be highly conversant with the NEC3/4 suite of contracts and be flexible to travel to site/client meetings as required.

Primarily based out of Solihull, home working is also available with client meetings essential.
