Job Title: Time Critical Service Delivery Agent Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pmSalary: £23K-£25K P/A based on experience
Our client is either looking for someone with previous experience within the Airfreight industry dealing with time sensitive shipments or a Trainee looking for their first role in the industry. Full training would then be given.
As a Time Critical Service Delivery Agent, you'll be at the forefront of providing top-notch customer service and logistics support.
Your roleThis role demands precision and dedication to ensure procedures are followed seamlessly. Answering calls with a professional touch, taking client orders with expertise, and keeping clients informed on every detail, you'll be the linchpin in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction. Navigate through the complexities of international logistics, build lasting client relationships, and demonstrate a "can do" attitude. Your responsibilitiesResponding in a timely and professional manner to time sensitive shipping requestsFamiliarising yourself with all special services we can offer to ensure customers are given all options availableEstablishing the best transport solution (Express, Hand carry or Road)Completing customs checksTaking booking details, arranging collections/deliveriesProviding quotations and gaining 3rd party costingsTracing and tracking of all shipments and keeping customers up to date proactively (which includes flight and customs delays, proof of deliveries, charges, resolutions, etc)Demonstrating a can do attitude and show that you are prepared to go the extra mile for the customer
Your expertiseExtensive experience within the Airfreight industry, specifically dealing with time sensitive shipmentsOutstanding customer service, influencing and consultative skillsAbility to work in a high-pressured environmentExcellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in EnglishConfident in using computer applicationsGood at establishing working relationships and developing personal contactsGood analytical and commercial awarenessSelf-motivated with good judgment and decision making qualities
