Job Title: Long-Term Key Stage 1 Teacher (Agency Supply)
Location: Primary School, Gillingham

Contract: Long-Term Supply (up to 12 months)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 teacher to join our team on a long-term supply basis starting in January 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to work with young learners in a vibrant, supportive primary school in Gillingham. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to children in Years 1 and 2, helping them to develop key foundational skills in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students in line with the National Curriculum
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring students feel safe and supported
Work closely with the school's leadership team and other teachers to share best practices and strategies
Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and behavior
Support the social, emotional, and academic development of each child
Contribute to the schools extracurricular activities and events as required
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2)
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment procedures
Passionate about working with young children and helping them achieve their full potential
Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and proactive approach
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Outstanding communication skills and a high level of professionalism
