Job Description
PSR Solutions are currently looking for a Contracts Manager in Kent, this will be working for a Civils specialist.
Responsibilities:
Monitoring progression on site, daily.
Procurement of materials, plant and equipment on site when needed.
Assessment of sub-contractors quality and progress in the project.
Monitor performance against the contracts program.
Maintaining a proactive culture towards the health and safety of all aspects of the site at all times.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues and subcontractors on each contract.
Attending progress meetings.
Reporting directly to company stakeholders on a regular basis with regards to the performance of the contract.Person Specification:
The successful candidate will need considerable experience in the Civil and water sectors as well as an appreciation of other aspects of engineering.
Essential:
Experience in Civil Engineering and as a Contracts Manager for a contractor.
Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
Excellent communication, people, and team management skills
Be able to demonstrate the right behaviours and lead the team to ensure the culture is in line with our values
Be able to motivate and lead the team in line with the Company culture, ensuring high standards of compliance
