Job Description
My client are a regional civil engineering contractor with over 40 years of experience across the civil engineering sector. They are looking to onboard a general foreman to strengthen their management & supervisory division. My client deliver schemes across both the public and private sector.
General foreman responsibilities:
* Collaborating with the project manager.
* Managing plant, labour and materials.
* Putting labour to work.
* RAMS.
* 4 week look ahead programs.
* Plant and machinery inspections.
* Record keeping.
* Liaising with the client and other subcontractors on site.
* Progress meetings.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance.
General foreman requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* CSCS card.
* SSSTS/ SMSTS.
* First aid.
* Previous experience in a general foreman role.
* Experience with civils, highways, earthworks.
* Full UK driving licence.
