HGV Driver Class 1

24-7 Recruitment Services are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers for a client based in Southampton. This will be an ongoing opportunity.

Tramping - SOUTHAMPTON SO50

No Assessments required

Minimum 6 months experience, ideally in a tramping role

Temp - Perm

Various start times - 10 hour runs

SALARY:

Hourly Rate from £16.25 per hour to £26.25 per hour

Night out allowance of £25.00, based in set truck stops

Fuel cards issued

Paid Breaks

Shift Patterns are as follows:

Days available

Start times starting from 5am - 8am

Monday to Friday

Weekend availability

About the role:

• Tramping
• Delivering to sites such as Estee Lauder, Boots, Hamleys and many more
• A good attitude is key
• You will be working on relatively new vehicles from 2021
• You will be assigned your own vehicle
• You will be expected to complete 10 hour runs
• Onsite Induction to be completed
• No Assessments required, however you will be buddied up for 4 weeks
• PPE Provided

* YOU MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:*

• A Full UK CPC Licence, Digi-Card & DQC Card
• 6 months experience
• No more than 6 Penalty Points on the license
• A good understanding of EU Drivers Hours & the WTD
• A good understanding of English, both written & verbal
