Junior Estimator / Estimator
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Estimator or Estimator to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to begin or advance your career in estimating while contributing to meaningful ecological and environmental projects. As part of our Bids and Business Development Team, you will work closely with our Project Teams and Technical Lead to develop accurate costings and proposals for a variety of projects.

This hybrid role will be based from our new Head Office at Codford, Warminster with the opportunity for remote working.
Key Accountabilities
Assist in preparing accurate and detailed cost estimate for a range of opportunities across our Design, Build and Monitoring teams.
Produce written proposals and compile associated documentation for each bid.
Analyse project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications.
Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.
Attend site visits alongside in-house technical specialists.
Liaise with internal teams to refine and support bid preparation.
Support with bid administration and ensure tender deadlines are met.
About You
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the environment and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Essential:
Full UK Drivers Licence.
GCSEs A-C in English, Maths and Science
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good IT skills including being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel
Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
A can-do attitude and positive approach to a varied and adaptable role
A good attention to detail with excellent presentation skills
Highly organised, motivated, and able to prioritise and plan own workload in line with strict deadlines
Desirable:
Qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Science, Construction, or Engineering).
Experience or interest in the environmental or construction sectors.
Familiarity with estimating and/or project management software/tools (e.g. Bidwork, Microsoft Project etc.)
