This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve. Lead the site team to proactively manage health and safety to ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally sound workplace and culture for all colleagues, customers and visitors and ensure that all departments within their area of responsibility are operating within all legislative requirements & licence conditions, liaising as required with regulatory bodies.



Monitor and advise on any issues that present a risk or opportunity to the business. Continual assessment of business risks & opportunities and development of proposals and plans to capitalise on significant opportunities and mitigate risks.



Day-to-day efficient management of the workforce throughout the operations and cooperating closely with the management team. Build stable teams supported with the appropriate training and development of talent to deliver against current and future demand.

About Parkwood Leisure




Rufford Country Park is a beautiful country park in Nottinghamshire steeped in history, we are seeking an innovative, committed individual to lead the Operations team at the park and build upon the successes already implemented since Parkwood Leisure took over the contract in 2017.



Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be required to take full responsibility for the effective operational management of the site. The post holder will ensure that the service provided meets the requirements of the client as defined within the service specification as well as consistently driving the operational performance of the site whilst being sensitive to the conservation aspects of the park and ensuring all health and safety aspects of the park are dealt with.



The successful candidate is expected to have a recognised management qualification as well as a track record of managing busy visitor attractions or a strong operational leisure sector background.
