Job Description
Our client, a world leader in their field, is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join their HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) department. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative shipyard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage permit to work systems.
* Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits.
* Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
* Provide guidance and support on all health and safety matters to employees and contractors.
Qualifications and Experience:
* NEBOSH National General Certificate.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Previous experience in a shipyard or similar industrial environment is highly advantageous.
Desired Skills:
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
