Mechanical Fitter (Manufacturing Assembly)
Permanent
Location - Northwich, Cheshire
Salary - £35,000- £42,000 depending on experience + benefits
Our client, a successful and innovative Engineering Manufacturing business is seeking to source a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join their Mechanical Team on a permanent basis. The business offers longevity and career progression within a specialist manufacturing/automation/assembly environment.
Qualifications:
Completed a recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or City & Guilds Mechanical qualification or relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification.
Overview
In this role you will be a go-to specialist within a close-knit team, completing the mechanical assembly, disassembly, and testing of a range of bespoke machinery.
The successful candidate will have a bespoke machine building background and skilled in the use of intricate measuring tooling (Digital Test Indicator's, Vernier Calliper's, Height Gauges, etc).
Duties:
* Hands-on mechanical engineering/fitting experience
* The ability to work to engineering drawings
* Working with the team to ensure targets are met
* Working according to health and safety guidelines
* Problem-solving skills, to solve and repair system issues efficiently and effectively
* Good team player
* Ideally be experienced in working with pneumatics but not essential.
* Strong commitment to all Health & Safety guidelines
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30 and Friday 07:45 to 12:15
34 days annual leave. Death in service benefit. 5% Company Pension contribution.
