Contract type:Full Time
Rate:Up to £47,000 per annum

About the role
Our Regional Physiotherapists provide specialist assessments, clinical diagnoses and interventions tosupport the people in our care, as well as developing therapy services across aregion.
Youll work as part of a wider Clinical Team to ensure the people we support receive high-quality care.
No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- being responsiblefor aclinical caseload
- working alongsidethe people we support, their loved ones and professionals to develop and deliverperson-centredphysiotherapy interventions
- carrying outassessments
- monitoring, evaluating and recordingpeoples progress, and updating and adapting their care plan as required
- working closely with professionalsfrom a range of agencies including GPs, Consultants, NHS colleagues, Primary Care Trusts (PCT) and Social Services, to ensure that peoples ongoing care is timely and effective
- maintainingeffective communicationsystems and practices throughout the home(s), particularly within the wider Therapy Team which may include Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants
- training, supervising and developinga team of Therapists in your region
- promotingchoice, dignity and independence.

As a Regional Physiotherapist, youll:
- have a thorough understanding ofphysiotherapy best practiceincluding specialist clinical assessment, reasoning skills and treatment skills
- demonstratestrong leadershipandeffective supervisionof clinical teams
- demonstrate an excellent range ofphysiotherapy interventionsand treatments
- have a good knowledge and experience of theassessment, admission and discharge process
- be an excellentrole modeland be able to coach, motivate, teach and support your colleagues
- treat all colleagues, service users and visitors withdignity and respect
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- have good workingIT knowledgeand digital skills
- have detailed knowledge of theMental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, and work within the Codes of Practice
- comply withregulatory requirementsfor quality and safety and meet CQC standards.
