Experience/Duties

You do not need to have experience caring for others however we ask that you have a good level of English spoken and written and that you have a passion for caring for others.

Duties for a healthcare assistant include:

• Providing personal care, such as washing, dressing, toileting and feeding
• Assisting with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, shopping and cooking
• Administering medications
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Supporting with hobbies and physical activities
• Learning about the clients' needs and interests
• Empathy and a positive demeanour
