Job Title: Freight & Logistics Co-Ordinator

Location: Worcester

Salary: from £30,000 depending on experience

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday Friday,9am to 5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for a Freight & Logistics Co-Ordinator, for a well established, rapidly growing business based in Worcester. We are ideally looking for a candidate who has experience working withfreightforwarders, importing from the far east.

Details of Role:

Liaise withfreightforwarders for the costs of both airfreight and seafreightconsignments.

Approve bookings and ensure correct documentation is in place for Customs clearance.

Liaising between factories andfreightforwarders to ensure bookings are sent through and space secured on required vessels.

Reconcile supplier invoices to load schedules, ensuring correct pricing and quantity, updating our internal SAP system with shipment details.

Produce commodity code listing and reconciliation to invoice and packing list forfreightforwarders ready for Customs clearance process.

Work with yearly external Audit company to provide reports, OPR records and supplier and purchase invoice trails.

Work with HMRC for the import / export audit and also OPR audit, ensuring all paperwork trails are available and accurate for audit.

Experience Needed:

Experience of working withfreightforwarders to import from the far east.

Motivated and positive individual.

Computer literate with experience of MS Office programs.

Great interpersonaland organisationalskills.

Excellentattention to detail.
