The Role
He attends school 4 days per week, and his Support Workers provide 2:1 care to him during his school day, to enable and facilitate learning and access to education, socialise with his peers, and participate in activities. He has an extensive therapy programme in place to support his rehabilitation (SLT, Physio, Dramatherapy, OT etc.) with training provided by his MDT. His programmes are implemented by his care team in a fun, imaginative and creative way throughout his week. As mentioned, he leads a busy life, with regular appointments, planned activities, events etc, and your role will be to support him with all of this along with his daily needs. We need a Support Worker who is dedicated to his development, supporting, and encouraging him to reach his full potential whilst continually promoting his independence.
