Job Description
We are currently working with a leading M&E contractor with a turnover of circa £250m and a strong national presence across the commercial, life science and healthcare sectors who due to multiple project wins, are looking for an MEP Project Director to join their London business unit,
Reporting to a regional operations director, you will have full autonomy to manage a notable £32m M&E commercial shell and core and cat A fit out project near Liverpool Street. Joining from early stage pre-construction, you will be tasked with leading the detailed pre-construction phase before going to site in Q3 of next year to lead to PC.
MEP Project Director Duties
– Attend project meetings and produce reports.
– Build relationships with clients/contractors as part of the team.
– Attend meetings with designers, specialist contractors and internal teams
– Review of designs to ensure compliance to specification
– Review, assess and select mechanical sub-contractors
– Knowledge of market rates and have commercial input to the procurement team.
– On site review and management of building services installation to ensure contract compliance.
– Ensure health and safety policy is adhered during project duration.
