We are currently seeking a Software Engineering Delivery Manager, reporting directly to the Technip Energies Software Engineering Director to join our Cybernetix team based in Marseille, Chateau Gombert.

About the Job

The Software Engineering Delivery Manager manages and coordinates all software development disciplines by providing leadership and expertise, and is accountable for the:

1. Safety of software engineering staff located in our Technip Energies legal entities of Cybernetix & CyXplus
2. Compliance to regulatory and company requirements around health, safety, environment, and security
3. Alignment to One-team-Delivery global structure
4. Management of demand, capacity, and budgets
5. Hiring of staff with right competencies and capabilities
6. Supervision, support, and development of the team
7. Management of contracts and suppliers
8. Partnership with solution/product/project managers
9. Allocation of resources with right competencies and capabilities to projects
10. Continuous improvement of service

To ensure the delivery of:

1. Software development of new applications
2. Small enhancements of existing applications
3. L3 support of existing applications
4. Obsolescence management for all applications

About You

1. Bachelor or Masters degree in IT related to Software Development
2. Effective team management skills
3. Fact-based decision-making skills
4. Strong background on software development processes
5. Must be thoroughly familiar with the available tools, methods, procedures, and/or equipment related to Agile software development
6. Must be able to communicate effectively, both formally and informally, whether they are colleagues, users, or customers
7. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization
8. Must have the capability to manage situations of conflict and to generate consensus
9. Strong written/spoken English and presentation skills
10. Strong transversal management in a matrixed organization
11. Managerial experience related to Procurement and HR
12. Must demonstrate ownership, initiative, and autonomy
13. 10 years’ experience with Team management on software development domain
14. 2 years’ experience in management or management related position
