Role Overview : As an Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and application requirements. You will work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the team and engage with various teams across the organization to make key decisions and provide solutions to business and technical problems. Your daily tasks will involve application development, data analysis, team collaboration, and contributing to critical decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities : - Subject Matter Expertise (SME) : Serve as the go-to expert for Teradata BI and related technologies. - Team Collaboration : Work with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions. - Leadership and Decision Making : Responsible for team-level decision-making and contributing to organizational decisions, ensuring alignment with business goals. - Solution Provider : Actively engage in solving problems across multiple teams and providing actionable solutions. - Application Design & Development : Design, build, and configure applications to meet specific business process needs. - Stakeholder Engagement : Regularly engage with stakeholders and collaborate on important decisions regarding application development. Required Professional & Technical Skills : - Teradata BI : Expertise in Teradata Business Intelligence (BI) tools and technologies is a must. - Data Visualization Tools: Experience in using tools like Tableau or Power BI for presenting data insights. - Statistical Analysis & Machine Learning : Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms such as Linear regression, Logistic regression, Decision trees, Clustering algorithms. - Data Munging : Proficient in data cleaning, transformation, and normalization techniques to ensure high-quality and accurate data for analysis and reporting. Desired Skills : Strong understanding of business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Ability to work independently and manage complex application development tasks.
