Grid Project Manager

The Client:

Rullion is excited to partner with a leading engineering, procurement, consulting, and construction firm with a century-long legacy of innovation in sustainable infrastructure. This role is permanent and based in Central London with work from home flexibility 2 days per week.

Summary of the Role:

As Project Manager - Grid, you must have direct grid PM experience as you will oversee grid services across the UK and EMEA region, managing medium to large-scale projects. You’ll lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and managing the activities of third-party companies. Your role will be pivotal in driving project success, from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing risks related to cost, schedule, and quality throughout the full project lifecycle
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and client satisfaction
• Overseeing the day-to-day execution of projects, including financial metrics, planning, scheduling, and staffing
• Coordinating technical requirements relating to grid and substation projects
• Obtaining new/repeat business and supporting contract negotiations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in grid and/or substation projects
• Proven background or managing and leading teams of multi-discipline professionals
• Experienced in coordinating the activities of all third-party companies contributing to the project delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Experience working with similar engineering consultancies
• Experience in data centre design, EV charging infrastructure, BESS projects
