Project Manager

ConsultANZ is looking for a Project Manager to join a well-established main contractor in Hamilton, Waikato. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead impactful projects and work with a dynamic team dedicated to delivering high-quality results in significant infrastructure developments.

• Attractive salary package ranging from $130k to $150k, plus a car (negotiable)
• Permanent Full-time role
• Based in Hamilton, Waikato

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Verify that deliverables meet specified requirements.
• Identify potential risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed proposals, budgets, and project reports, highlighting strong organizational and leadership capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary qualified with a comprehensive understanding of commercial and contractual aspects.
• Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in civil contracting, specifically in water-related infrastructure projects.
• Possess a deep appreciation for engineering techniques and construction processes.
• Capable of assessing site conditions through physical inspections and interpreting surveys and investigations.
• Practical, hands-on approach combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
