Job Description
Senior Engineer – Autronica – North West / Hybrid – OUTSIDE IR35 – 6 months rolling contract – January 2025 start - £50-55hr
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Senior Engineer with at least 2 years Autronica experience to work in a large project delivery team on a critical infrastructure project.
Key aspects of the Lead Engineer role include;
* Recent / strong knowledge of Autronica F&G systems (ideally including any relevant/valid certification or training)
* Design, configuration and test of Autronica F&G systems covering software and hardware
* Experience delivering projects in regulated industries
* Knowledge of infrastructure industry standards for gas (storage / distribution )
* Live within a commutable distance of Warrington would be ideal – role will be hybrid but 2 days/week will be office based (unless in test or required for specific meetings)
Desirable skills include –
* Understanding of the project lifecycle and experience of FEED (Front End Engineering Design) as well as detailed design and project execution
* Producing documentation and software in regulated environments including revision control, traceability, tracking of changes
* Experience dealing with critical national infrastructure customers and compliance
* Understanding quantifying change and the impact to time and cost
The offices are easily commutable from most of the North West including places such as Manchester, Liverpool, Warrington, Widnes, St Helens, Runcorn, Northwich, Chester, Bolton, Stockport and Wigan
