Job Description
Principal People are excited to be partnered with a well-established specialist ground engineering organisation, who are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join them on an initial 6-8 week contract with further work to be available beyond this, working on one of their projects with a prestigious client of theirs.
This role will be based in the Letchworth Garden City area with site travel when required spanning from Cambridge to Oxford.
The successful candidate will be working an operational role undertaking site inspections, general health and safety advice, safety inductions, toolbox talks, accident investigation and health and safety reporting amongst other duties.
They are looking for a strong verbal communicator and the role is to pay a daily rate of £(Apply online only)/day (Outside IR35).
This role has an anticipated start of early-mid December.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor will:
NEBOSH General qualified (or Equivalent)
Hold a valid CSCS Card (or willing to obtain one)
Be Baseline Security (BPSS) checked or able to pass one.
Experience within civils, groundworks, piling, excavations, utilities etc
Experience of temporary works / lifting operations is desirable
Be available to start from early-mid December
