We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Supply Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Bournemouth, starting in January 2025. The Role:
As a Supply Teacher in this SEN school, you will:
Provide engaging and effective teaching to students with diverse learning needs.
Support students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning or behavioural challenges.
Collaborate with the school's teaching assistants, SEN specialists, and other professionals to ensure the individual needs of students are met.
Implement and adapt lesson plans to accommodate various learning abilities, ensuring all students receive the appropriate level of support.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Previous experience working in an SEN environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of SEN best practices and strategies.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
