Located in Armthorpe, near Doncaster, our client is the premier hire supplier of Vacuum Excavators to the UK construction industry, with a fully equipped, modern HGV workshop to DVSA standards.

Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a professional, team focused, Semi Skilled Mechanic/Yard Operative who can work well within a fast-paced environment to join their motivated team who have a first class reputation within the industry.

Responsibilities include:

• Being responsible for day-to-day operations in the yard
• Assisting the HGV team, including driving duties
• Minor facilities management works and ensuring a smoothing running of a variety of activities

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in yard and workshop operations, have some technical training involving vehicles/plant and have a Cat B + E driving licence.

This is a 4 on 4 off role, working a 10-hour day at £30,000 per annum paid weekly, with regular overtime available and the opportunity to undertake further relevant training to Level 3 HGV Technician.
