A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Product & Purchasing Manager to join this specialist tour operator focused on educational school trips worldwide. They are passionate about creating enriching experiences for students and are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a small team in creating and developing new innovative product to drive future growth.

Senior Product & Purchasing Manager - Role & Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the product and purchasing team
• Developing and implementing strategies to maximise commercial performance
• Negotiate competitive rates and commercial terms with suppliers for specific geographic regions
• Oversee health and safety audits, ensuring adherence to School Travel Forum guidelines
• Collaborate with internal departments (sales, commercial, operations, etc.)
• Travel to destinations for product development and contracting purposes

Senior Product & Purchasing Manager Skills Required:

• Significant experience at a manager level in a similar role within school or group travel
• Strong destination knowledge in Europe and/or the USA
• Proven management skills with experience leading a team
• Creative, innovative, motivated, and possess a can-do attitude
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Fluency in a European language preferred – French / Spanish / Italian
• Ability to travel as required – circa 4 to 6 overseas trips per annum
• A clean driving license
