Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bridge Architect / Engineer with 5 to 15 years in bridge architectural design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards, a proven track record in innovative bridge concepts, and expertise in 3D modeling and rendering.

Responsibilities:

• Develop architectural concepts and options for bridges in collaboration with the bridge structural engineer for client selection.
• Prepare detailed bridge architectural reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Create 3D models and rendered perspectives of bridge options, with a strong emphasis on aesthetics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
• Design and specify architectural elements of bridges, including finishes, textures, colors, and other features.
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to bridge architecture.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Architecture with a specialization in bridges is required.
• Alternatively, a civil engineering degree with a master’s in architecture will also be considered.
• Strong attention to aesthetics and detail, with a commitment to quality work.
• Proficiency in related software (e.g., BIM, Rhino, etc.).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Residency or experience in London is preferred.
• Previous experience working on large-scale bridge projects.
• Familiarity with local and international architectural bridge design standards and regulations.
