Job Description

This Pitch Manager role is positioned in a leading full-service UK firm. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our firm's future by supporting, developing, and executing high-impact pitches.


Reporting into a Senior Business Development Manager, this Pitch Manager will be responsible for:


  • Pitch Ownership: Act as the custodian of pitch standards, ensuring consistency and alignment across the firm.
  • Strategic Pitch Leadership: Take the lead on high-profile pitches, including panel RFPs, large transactions, and strategically important opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management: Collaborate with BDMC Leadership to effectively manage and prioritize the opportunity pipeline.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling value propositions and sales messages, considering factors like diversity, ESG, and CSR.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Finance, Risk & Compliance, HR, CSR & D&I, Technology, Knowledge Lawyers, and BD) to ensure seamless pitch execution.
  • Innovative Approach: Embrace creative solutions to streamline pitch processes and enhance response times.
  • Client Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional service to internal clients, ensuring timely and high-quality pitch support.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct market research to inform targeted business development strategies.
  • Team Contribution: Actively participate in the BD & Marketing team, fostering cross-practice collaboration and initiatives.
