My client, a global manufacturing company currently has an urgent requirement for a skilled Facilities Engineer in join on an initial 6 Month contract (though strong possibility of an extension).

Key Responsibilities:

• Employs a comprehensive set of engineering skills to support and sustain equipment and processes effectively, demonstrating strong leadership to cultivate these skills within the team.
• Actively pursues skill enhancement through training, assessment, and educational programs, while also promoting growth in team capabilities.
• Analyzes technical issues to formulate effective solutions.
• Exhibits a proactive, results-driven approach to addressing challenges.
• Understands and aligns engineering support with client and customer needs.
• Applies effective maintenance principles to ensure systems function optimally.
• Evaluates task or project complexity and allocates resources appropriately for successful completion.
• Implements continuous improvements to drive business efficiency.

Requirements:

• Qualified as a craft engineering technician (e.g., C&G, ONC/HNC, BTEC National Certificate).
• Experience in maintenance and installation of various services and facilities in manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Adaptable to multi-skilled, flexible work across mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
• Experience supervising and managing external contractors and service providers, with familiarity with Permit to Work systems and related safety protocols.
• Skilled at working effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
