Data Privacy Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen at a leading Investment bank in the city for Data Privacy Manager to join a new hub of the team in Newcastle focusing predominantly on the UK / Ireland and European markets across all entities of the group and all 3 lines of the business.

The global team was previously based out of the US, but they are now building a central hub in UK focussed on all regions outside of the US and APAC This is an important and highly visible role within the bank, that presents a fantastic opportunity for the you to make a positive impact by working with all parts of the business on all aspects of privacy compliance.

They are looking for privacy SME’s at various levels who can demonstrate a strong privacy background and an ethical approach to data use. You’ll also need to have good technical knowledge of data protection laws, regulations and practices in the UK and/or Ireland, and experience of applying these in practice, including communicating with privacy regulators and clients.
