Perm salary up to £100k plus package.

We are currently looking for an experience Project Manager with BESS experience to be based on a project in South Wales.

We are in the process of rapidly re-purposing the site through the development of large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects which are essential for UK Government to meet net zero targets. we have set a strategic target and commenced development works towards owning and operating over 1GW BESS by 2030.

The site is particularly well suited for large scale scale BESS with access to 250 acres of industrial land available for redevelopment and having existing 275kV and 132kV National grid substations located on our site our project’s benefit from grid connection dates in the range 2025 - 2030.

We are now seeking to recruit an experienced BESS Project Manager to work alongside our site teams and take responsibility for delivering our BESS projects from award of planning permission through to commercial operations.

The immediate focus will be on delivery of a 120MW BESS which has now received planning permission and aiming to start construction in Q1 2025 to meet the 2026 connection date.

Suitable candidates will have extensive experience and passion for BESS technology, project development and delivery.
