Student Placement - Purchasing & Supply Chain, Materials Management

We have a vacancy for an undergraduate student to complete a Year in Industry placement focusing on Materials Management within the Stores area of our Chemical Manufacturing site, commencing Summer 2025.

The successful candidate will support the Assistant Warehouse Manager, who undertakes numerous roles within the Warehouse, primarily being responsible for:

• Stock Take / Cycle Count programme

• Purchase Order Processing

• Goods Issue and Receipt

• Labelling

• Material Shipment

• General Administration

This is an undergraduate placement. Applicants should have an interest in Material Management processes and have good communication skills, along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Candidates must be proactive, self-motivated and have the ability to use their own initiative.

Candidates should have experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
