We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Consultant and will consider applicants at all levels, from Assistant to Senior, to join their Ipswich office.
You will work on a range of exciting projects, primarily across the King's Lynn and Cambridge areas, contributing to the successful delivery by providing expert cost management and consultancy services. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Key responsibilities of this role to include:
* Provide full cost consultancy services, including cost planning, budgeting, and procurement advice.
* Manage pre- and post-contract duties, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Collaborate on projects across various sectors, ensuring value for money and client satisfaction.
* Mentor and support junior team members (for senior applicants).
The ideal applicant for this position will possess;
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* Membership (or working towards) of a relevant professional body such as RICS.
* Strong knowledge of UK construction practices and industry standards.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to travel to project sites in King's Lynn and Cambridge as needed.
The successful applicant can expect to receive;
* Competitive salary of £40,000 - £65,000, based on experience.
