Job Description

Payroll & Finance Officer £28,000 - £34,000 annual salary part-time 28 hours per week - temp to perm

A higher education organisation, based in central Oxford.

Your new role

  • Responsible for monthly Payroll
  • Communicating payroll processing deadlines
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Process adjustments to pay
  • Dealing with payroll related queries
  • Submission of pension contributions
  • Preparation of HMRC reports, including year-end reports and returns

What you'll need to succeed
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of payroll and finance systems
  • High levels of accuracy
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines
