About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team focused on delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Technical Support: Provide technical advice and input during all stages of construction, including interpreting blueprints, designs, and project specifications.
* Setting Out: Conduct accurate site surveys and set out works according to plans, ensuring precision in all construction activities.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor construction processes and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and project requirements.
* Health & Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all site personnel.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate activities and resolve any issues.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, quality control checklists, and material usage logs.
* Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve on-site challenges promptly to minimise delays and disruptions.
Requirements:
* Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Professional certifications (e.g., CSCS card, SMSTS) are highly desirable.
* Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a site engineering role, preferably within commercial or industrial construction projects.
* Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Technical Skills:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, surveying equipment (e.g., total stations), and construction management software.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations.
