Great opportunity to join a market leader in the field of Secure Communications and Electronic Warfare. With a growing client base and portfolio our client is looking for an experienced Aerospace & Defence Key Account Manager to focus on several high profile key accounts within the UK A&D sector.
You'll be joining a busy sales environment within an organisation that is focused on delivering best in class products and service. Well respected within the industry and a great environment for career development.
Working alongside Senior Business Development Managers in market segments such as Secure Communications and Electronic Warfare in Maritime and Land domains, supporting them within Key Accounts, developing existing relationships and developing new business within these accounts.
Ideally a candidate with experience working with Defence Primes and Central Government. Knowledge or experience with Sec Comms and EW products would be an advantage but not essential. Knowledge of related product sales or relevant services such as training and support contracts also considered.
- You'll be tasked with building stronger relationships within existing accounts.
- Identifying new opportunities within key accounts and developing strategies to win new business.
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs and build trust-based relationships to facilitate long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with HQ product development and Engineering teams to find creative customer solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally with related products, Electronics or Engineering
- 3 - 4 years' prior sales experience
- Knowledge of Defence Primes and Central Government
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
- Focused and goal-oriented
