Commercial Property Solicitor

We are looking for Solicitors based in Aberdeen or Inverness to join our busy Commercial Property team.

The role

Our team represents a wide range of clients across various sectors, including international energy companies, as well as landowners involved in renewable energy projects such as wind turbines, battery storage, solar, and hydro-electric developments. We also work with national house builders, developers and property investors.

The role covers all aspects of commercial property law and involves –

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
• Landlord and tenant leasing and management documentation
• Site acquisition and assemble for house builders
• Title analysis and reporting, along with other due diligence matters
• Acquiring investment properties
• Development sales and letting agreements
• Secured lending transactions with banks and other lenders
• Handling renewable energy projects, including battery storage, wind turbines, solar, and hydro-electric developments
• Managing transactions related to hotels, restaurants, retail and leisure sectors

The ideal candidate

You will ideally have experience in commercial property, but we welcome applications from those with a residential conveyancing background looking for a career change. There are opportunities to specialise in specific areas and you will receive support and mentoring within a highly supportive team.
