Job Description
A relocation opportunity to join a highly regarded fit-out contractor and manufacturer in the Kingdom of Bahrain **
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a senior construction position preferably within bespoke joinery manufacturing and decorative metalwork industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and align the manufacturing vision and strategy to support and achieve overall business objectives and targets.
* Oversee the entire function by managing both Joinery factories, collaborating with Metal production leadership, and ensuring alignment with ongoing project demands and delivery schedules while accommodating the increasing demand from the luxury market.
* Lead the teams in implementing lean manufacturing practices, including the adoption, training, and rollout of methods such as 5S across all disciplines.
* Conduct regular reviews and assessments of operational processes from contract award to site delivery, and initiate improvements to enhance quality, eliminate waste, and reduce manufacturing costs (develop and maintain SOPs, user manuals, etc.).
* Cultivate a strong “can-do” attitude within the production team, providing support, capacity, and problem-solving in partnership with internal stakeholders and customers
