Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
Deliver engaging, well-structured Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
Plan and assess students' progress to ensure every child reaches their potential.
Encourage and support student participation, fostering a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with the school team to ensure that learning aligns with the National Curriculum.
Provide constructive feedback to help students improve in Geography.
Requirements of the Geography Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.
Proven experience as a Geography Teacher in secondary education.
Strong classroom management skills with a commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity.
Excellent knowledge of the Geography curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
Ability to inspire curiosity and academic excellence in students.
