SHEQ Lead
Location: Wakefield
Salary: Up to 45k
Shifts: Full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week.
A local Engineering company are looking for a SHEQ LEAD. Looking for someone with the following

Job Purpose – SHEQ LEAD
The implementation, maintenance and ongoing development of the organisations SHEQ management systems.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities – SHEQ LEAD
* Taking the lead on the implementation of an updated SHEQ management system
* Ongoing review of the ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 management systems ensuring all related documentation remains suitable and effective
* Undertaking internal audits of the management system both desktop and site based
* Taking the lead on external audits with clients and accreditation bodies
* Work with site management to ensure all training needs for the anticipated workload are met
* Carry out Safety Induction Training on all new starters
* Carry out Internal training courses to company employees
* Reporting monthly on SHEQ stats
* To assist the SHEQ Manager as and when required
Qualifications and Experience
* Internal auditor trained
* NEBOSH General or Construction certificate
* Experience of implementing and managing ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 management systems
* Full clean driving license Other
* To undertake other miscellaneous activities/project work deemed appropriate for the role of SHEQ Lead support to assist with the efficient operation of the business.
* Deal with sensitive information with discretion, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
