Job Description
A Building and Construction client of ours in the Colchester area are recruiting a Document Controller to join their team. This is a 9-month FTC maternity cover position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and paying £25,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting into the Technical Design Manager your key duties with include but are not limited to:
Set up, copy, scan and store documents
Manage requests for documentation from clients
Issuing of design drawings and documentation
File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage
Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation and projects
General administrative duties such as filing and scanning
Adhoc duties as required by the team
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Document Controller position:
Document Controller or Administrator experience essential
Strong IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word
Good attention to detail
The ability to multitask
Highly organised
Excellent communication skills
Construction and building industry experience desirable but not essential
