Service Engineer - Heavy Equipment
Location: Stratford-upon-Avon
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 annually (Base: £14/hr; Overtime: £21/hr)
Hours: 50 hours/week (39 regular + 11 overtime); overtime available

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Workshop Service Engineer to inspect, maintain, and repair heavy construction equipment, particularly crawler cranes and piling rigs. Ideal for a skilled technician who can perform detailed diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure peak equipment performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnosis & Inspection: Identify and resolve equipment issues using diagnostic tools and industry knowledge.
* Repairs & Maintenance: Conduct comprehensive servicing, repair, and reassembly of heavy machinery components.
* Documentation: Prepare accurate service reports, tracking repairs and routine maintenance.
* Communication: Coordinate with team members and clients on repair status and parts requirements.
* Health & Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 2 years with heavy equipment, particularly cranes and piling rigs.
* Technical Skills: Basic understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems.
* Certifications: CSCS card or City & Guilds preferred.
* Other: Strong troubleshooting skills; teamwork and communication abilities. Driving license preferred.
