Job Description
A leading project-based company within the Energy sector is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team. Working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor and project teams, this role aims to drive profitability, reduce project risk, and oversee subcontractor management.
Key responsibilities include report preparation, commercial application implementation, site cost recovery, and risk management. You will also liaise regularly with project stakeholders to support financial forecasting and monthly project reporting.
Key Skills and Qualifications
·Strong negotiating, analytical, and financial skills
·Proficiency in contract costing and contract law
·Hands-on experience in subcontract management, cost/value reconciliation, and supporting project teams
·Qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
·Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for a proactive Quantity Surveyor with a solid understanding of commercial practices, contract management, and the ability to foster strong relationships with project stakeholders.
