Senior Planner - Flagship super-prime residential project
Permanent, nr Tidworth, Hampshire
Start ASAP - Up to c£85,000 - £90,000 + car allowance + comprehensive package
This well-established (60-year-old +), prestigious, family run building contractor specialises in renovation, extension and refurbishment of period and bespoke one-off properties.
They have a requirement for a Senior Planner to join the team on one of the most prestigious high-end residential projects in the South East. The project itself is a major refurbishment (£90m+) of a Listed 17th Century private country estate, of approximately 2000+ acres. This is a once in a lifetime project to have on the CV!
Job Summary:
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project programmes to ensure timely project delivery. Close collaboration with project managers, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate programmes, identify risks, and provide strategic planning support. The Senior Planner will leverage advanced planning techniques and software to enhance project timelines and resource allocation.
Key Skills:
Critical Path Analysis, Resource Management, Risk Management, Reporting and Documentation, Stakeholder Communication, Programme Optimisation, Software Proficiency, Training and Guidance, Compliance and Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: degree in Construction Management, Project Management Qualifications, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project programming, with at least 3-5 years in a senior scheduling role.
Software Skills: Proficiency in programme software predominantly Elecosoft Power Project, and other relevant tools.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource levelling techniques.
Attributes: Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
This role can also be referred to as a Planner, Senior Planner, Programmer and Senior Programmer.
