Salary: £95 - £110 per day

Are you a compassionate SEND Support Assistant dedicated to making a difference in a child's learning journey?
We are looking for a skilled individual to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with specific needs, including cognitive delays, personal care, and physical support requirements. This role is based in a welcoming primary school in Lincoln, LN5, starting in December.
What We Need from You:
Experience working with children, particularly those with cognitive delays and additional needs.
Proficiency in personal care and physical support within an educational setting.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to ensure the pupil feels safe and valued.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to create tailored strategies for pupil support.
A proactive attitude to foster independence and engagement in learning.
What You'll Do:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil, focusing on their unique needs and learning objectives (current learning level of a Year 1 pupil).
Assist with personal care tasks, maintaining dignity and comfort.
Support the pupil's access to the curriculum and active participation in classroom activities.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed.
